Lindow, Dora (20 September 1866 - 5 April 1949)

Mrs. Dora Lindow, 82, died April 5, 1949 in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton, and at 2 p.m. from Christ Lutheran Church, Chili.

The Rev. Arthur Oswald officiated. Burial was made in the Yolo Cemetery.

Dora Degner was born September 20, 1866, in Balje, Germany, to Pastor Friedrich and Louise Degner. She was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical faith in 1881. In December, 1893, she came to Spencer and was married to Emil Bosselmann in 1906. Mr. Bosselmann preceded her in death in 1923.

In 1924 she was married to Louis Lindow, and they made their home in and near Chili. Mr. Lindow passed away in 1943.

Mrs. Lindow was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church. She is survived by two brothers, Albert Degener of Neillsville, and Fritz Degener of Germany; two sisters, Mrs. Auguste Drewes and Mrs. Marichen Meineke of Germany; six step-children and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were: Adolph Beil, Paul Beil, Herman Montag, Russ Renne, Ernest Pusheck and Oscar Bartsch. Mrs. Howard Geldernick and Evelyn Bartsch sang two selections.
