Cherokee, Wis. - Feb. 28, 1918

Fred Olson and Frank Hause were Marshfield visitors Monday.

The Cherokee card club met with Mrs. Carl Reyer Monday night.

The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Opichka, who was very ill on Monday, is reported on the gain.

Wm. Graumann and Ewald Wiersig have started to fill the Hull Cheese & Butter company’s icehouse.

Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Hudson and son, Etzol, who were visiting in Iowa, their former home, returned home last week.

Dean Rein left Wednesday for Oshkosh having enlisted in the navy. We all hate to see him go but wish him the best of luck.

Bill Roth went to Medford on business Monday.

Mrs. William Meier is reported be very sick with pneumonia.

Herman Vogt, of Unity, was a business visitor here Tuesday.

Mrs. Carl Reyer visited last Sunday with her cousin, Mrs. Byron Talcut, in the town of Brighton.

Mrs. Fred Olson is spending a few days at Abbotsford, the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fan Tuttle.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Heintz and Mr. and Mrs. Will Roth and children visited at the William McNeights home Sunday.

Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eggebrecht were presented with a big baby girl. The peacock may be a beautiful bird but it takes the stork to deliver the goods.
