Abbotsford, Wis. - Aug. 28, 1919

E. Sullivan has moved his family into the Otto Groelle residence.

A. J. Young and wife visited at Eau Claire a couple of days the past week.

Willie Taylor has bought the Travis property and expects to repair and occupy same as a residence.

Vacant houses in Abbotsford will soon be a thing of the past at the rate they are now being purchased.

William Petersohn of Dorchester has bought a cottage in this village from E. W. Notbohm we are informed.

Gust Wilhelmi has bought the C. L. Latham residence on the West Side and will move his family into same when Mr. Sullivan vacates.

New cement walks were laid the past week in front of the Farmers Store and Bank, aiding greatly to the convenience of travelers on same.

Theo. Emling has bought the Ed Austin home and two lots from Mrs. Henderson and will remodel the house and make extensive repairs to same.

The Eau Claire Jazz Band gave a dance at the opera house Monday evening. The music was very fine but the attendance not as large as usual.

John Hutt has sold his restaurant and confectionery business to a party from Mellen who has taken possession. Mr. Hutt has not decided where he will locate as yet.

M. J. Phillippi and family of Athens have rented the Tiffany *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
