Milan, Wis. - Sept. 4, 1919

Ed Kattre left Monday morning for Kiel on business.

Joe Vesley started clerking at the Milan Store last week.

People in this vicinity are busy cutting corn and filling silos.

Miss Emma Ewan has been hired as clerk at Semon Bros. store.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Arson Faucher last Thursday a baby girl.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Benzman and son Ervin were at Athens Saturday.

Quite a number from the vicinity attended the fair at Wausau last week.

Miss Hazel Bunkelman entered the Training school at Wausau last week.

The Milan Community Club will meet with Mrs. Ellingson Friday, Sept. 12.

Mrs. John Schreiber and baby girl returned Thursday from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Chas. Schmitt and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hermann at Colby Monday.

Miss Anna Zenk of Colby was the guest of Mrs. Schmitt last week Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kattre left for Sheboygan recently to visit with friends and relatives there.

John Haderlein and sons were at Ogema Sunday and returned with a good supply of blueberries.

Miss Henriette Glock spent several days of last week with Miss Betty Kremsreiter of Wurtzberg.

Mrs. R. Prentice and daughter Miss Maud Bunkelman returned Saturday from their trip to Seymour.
