South Hull, Wis. - Mar. 4, 1920

Wayne Pope is reported as being on the sick list. We hope it isn’t the flu.

Mrs. Mike Bast will entertain the members of the Larkin Club at her home next Sunday afternoon March 7.

Stanley Smith started into high school again last Monday, after an absence of two weeks on account of the flu.

All the flu patients on this part of the globe are convalescing very nicely and we hope there will be no future outbreak of the disease.

Henry Forbish, and Nick Kanter each purchased a fine span of horses at the sale in Colby last Saturday. We understand. Mr. Schmutzler also invested in a new team.

Mrs. Lyding, of Chicago, came up last Wednesday to visit for a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. Sommer. The following Monday Mrs. Lyding and Mrs. Sommer left for Rib Lake to spend a few days with relatives and friends.

Mr. Mike Bast, who has been in the Colby hospital for the past six weeks, following an operation for abscess of the knee came home last Friday. Tho’ greatly improved, Mr. Bast is still *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
