A young farmer named William Miller, disappeared from his farm near Curtiss last week Wednesday and has not been seen or heard from. His wife was absent from home in the afternoon and on her return found the cows in the barn ready for milking. As her husband did not appear she gave the alarm and parties set out to search for him. District Attorney Jackson and Sheriff Kutchera joined in the search later. It was found that he cashed a small check in Curtiss and later gave the post master some money and checks to deposit for him in the bank. He took his Ford with him. He is between 25 and 30 years of age, about six feet tall and weighs 185 pounds. He wore overalls when last seen and drove a Ford car with yellow wheels.
