Sterzinger, Margaret (Marriage - 11 MAY 1938)

Miss Margaret Sterzinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sterzinger of Colby, and Elmer E. Greaser, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Greaser of Abbotsford, were united in marriage Wednesday morning, May 11th at 10 o’clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. L. J. Lang at the rectory of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, Wis.

The bride wore a suit of maize with hat and accessories of rust. She wore a corsage of red and white roses and carnations.

Her attendant was Miss Vera Beattie of White Lake, a cousin. She wore a suit of tea rose with accessories of blue and a corsage of pink and white roses and carnations.

The groom was attended by Rudolph Sterzinger, a brother to Mrs. Greaser.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride. A five o’clock dinner was served to about 45 guests. Maize and blue were the colors used in the decorations. Spring flowers were in abundance. A wedding dance followed at Wiedenhoft’s Park.

Mr. and Mrs. Greaser are making their home in Abbotsford where the groom is employed at the Badger State Lumber Co.

Out of town relatives and friends who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Ehlke and family of Edgar, Mrs. Ehlke is a sister of the bride; Ross Greaser, of Eau Claire, brother to the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Vefly, Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Jicinsky and family, Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wicker and family, Edgar; and Miss Barbara and Miss Mary Hatelschur, Marshfield.
