JEAN FOY KILLED IN CAR COLLISION

Funeral services for Miss Jean Foy, daughter of Mrs. Harry Bark, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 from the house and 2:00 o’clock from the Presbyterian church. Interment will follow in Memorial cemetery.

Miss Foy, who lived with her sister Marie in Chicago, was enroute to Peoria, Ill., Monday when the car in which she was riding and a transport truck collided at Dwight, Ill. She and a companion were killed.

FUNERAL FOR JEAN FOY HELD HERE FRIDAY

Funeral services for Miss Jean Foy were held at the Presbyterian church, Friday afternoon at two o’clock. The Rev. E. L. Hoover officiated.

During the services Mrs. A. J. Folstad, accompanied by Mrs. Wm. Berger sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "God Will Take Care of You".

Interment followed in the Abbotsford cemetery. The acting pallbearers were Louis Weideman, Ed Sybeldon, Jr., Chas. Stimm, Sr., Chas. Stimm, Jr., Martin Larson and Kenneth Ingersoll.

Jean Foy was born in Lisbon, Waukesha County, Wis., on Sept. 14, 1898. She was graduated from the Medford High School and later was employed by the Board of Education as a teacher in Chicago.

On Monday, June 6th, she was instantly killed in a collision with a transport truck at Dwight, Ill.

The deceased was survived by her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bark of Abbotsford and a sister, Marie Foy, of Chicago.

Those from out of town who attended were: Miss Marie Foy and Mrs. J. C. Rose of Chicago; Mrs. Al Rodgus, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pierce, James Pierce, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stimm and son, all of Medford; Mrs. Henry Eolei, Dorchester; Mrs. James Ovans, Colby; and Mrs. Catherine Patterson, Plymouth.
