Roller, Paul (29 JUN 1887 - 20 MAY 1946)

Wednesday morning at nine o’clock, funeral services were conducted from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) for Paul Roller, 59, who ended his life by hanging Monday, May 20, 1946. The service was officiated at by Father Brockman of Abbotsford, Wis. Interment was made in the family lot in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Bloomer.

Paul J. Roller was born on June 29, 1887, at St. Cloud, Minn., later residing at Bloomer and Owen, where he had made his home for more than twenty years. For 10 years he was an employee of the Owen Box and Crating Co., but because of poor health he had not been steadily employed the past few years.

He was united in marriage to Mary M. Ludwig at Beach, N.D., May 28, 1910.

Paul Roller is survived by his wife Mary, three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Louise) Fletcher, Chestnut, Ill.; Mrs. Edward (Mary) Pape, Owen, and Esther, Owen; one son Edward, Owen, and six grandchildren, also by four sisters, Mrs. Angela McDonnel, Berkley, Calif., Mrs. Marie Elder, Norfolk, Virginia, Mrs. Annabel Piesik, Beach, N.D., and Mrs. Lucille Gallus, San Francisco, Calif.
