Rueth, Joseph #2 (14 July 1885 - 30 June 1970)

Joseph Rueth, 84, of Loyal, died Tuesday in Neillsville. Funeral services will be held Friday from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal. The Very Rev. Norbert E. King will officiate, with burial in the parish cemetery.

The body will lie in state at noon today (Thursday) at the Roycraft Funeral Home in Loyal. The Parish Council of Catholic Women will have a rosary at 3 p.m. today and the parish rosary at 9 p.m.

Mr. Rueth was born July 14, 1885, in Beaver Dam and moved to Loyal in 1902 with his parents. He farmed in Loyal until his retirement 10 years ago. He had been a resident of Memorial Home in Neillsville since that time.

Survivors include: a sister, Miss Verona Rueth of Whitewater; and two brothers, Albert and Peter, of Loyal.
