Turville, Ralph A. (? - 1949)

Funeral services for Ralph A. Turville were held August 11, 1949, at the Georgas Funeral Home, Rev. N. J. Dechant, officiating. Burial was made in Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Turville died at a hospital in Great Falls, Mont.

He worked on farms most of his life. He lived in Montana for some time before entering service at Fort Lewis, Wash., January 1, 1942, and received an honorable discharge at Fort Sheridan, Ill., January 3, 1946.

He is survived by his father, William Turville of Marshfield; and eight sisters and brothers: Richard of Fort Shaw, Mont., Mrs. Milton (Carrie) Redlin of Oshkosh; Mrs. Gordon (Kozia) Lavine of Oregon City, Ore.; Mrs. Ben (Hannah) Dahnert, Marshfield; David of Marshfield; John on Ontario, Ill.; Mrs. Leo (Grace) Hein, Spencer; and Chester of Neillsville.

Mrs. H. A. Van Gorden sang two selections accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

Pallbearers were: Gordon Campbell, Franklin Zickert, Gust DeMert, Oscar DeMert, Harold Imig and Elton Imig.

Ladies in charge of the flowers were: Mrs. Elton Imig, Mrs. Harold Imig, Mrs. Bert Schultz and Mrs. Oscar DeMert.

Out-of-town persons attending included: Mr. and Mrs. Ban Dahnert and Daniel Dahnert o0f Marshfield; Richard Turville, Fort Shaw, Mont.; Mrs. Grace Hein, LaVern Hein and Gloria Hein of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stumpke of Loyal; Mrs. Pearl Vincent, Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Byington of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Redlin, Douglas, Donald and Velda Redlin, Mrs. Charles Baxter, all of Oshkosh.
