Sebastian, Bertha (02 JAN 1985 – 25 MAR 1962)

Mrs. Bertha (Reineking) Sebastian daughter of William and Marie Dohmeier Reineking, was born January 2, 1885 at Greenwood, Wisconsin.


She had been in ill health for some time and passed away Sunday, March 25, 1962 at the home of her son at 607 S. Oak Park Ct., at the age of 77 years. She is survived by one son Milton, and a daughter Mrs. Howard (Arlene) Sieloff, both of Milwaukee. Also the following sisters, Lydia Miller, Greenwood; Amelia Decker, Derbu, Montana; Meda Vollrath, Los Angeles, Calif.; Ella Steiger, Eau Claire and Hilda Becker and Selma Reineking of Milwaukee; one brother Art of Watertown, 3 grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.


Services were conducted Wednesday March 28 at 1 p.m. at the Ritter Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gordon Sperry of Faith United church of Christ presiding. During the service Mr. Jerry Kirtzen sang “Beneath the Cross of Jesus” and “O God Help in Ages Past.”


Pallbearers were Mr. Elmer (copy missing) James Sebastain, Larry Sebastain, Norman Reineking, Orlin Fravert. Interment took place at Volhalla Cemetery.
