St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Fairview (Centennial Banquet - 1970)

More than 300 parishioners and guests filled the Fairchild school auditorium for the centennial banquet of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fairview.

Congratulatory messages were received from Richard Nixon, president of the United States; William Proxmire, senator; Vernon Thompson, congressman; Warren Knowles, governor; Raymond Johnson, State senator; John Radcliffe, state assemblyman; and Rev. Ray Short, Methodist minister of La Crosse. Louis Primus, chairman of the Jackson County board, sent a message in the name of the people of Jackson County.

Representing the state and county at the banquet were Raymond Johnson, Mr. and Louis Mato and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Primus.
