Schmidt, Kay Marie (Marriage - 21 Sept. 1985)

Kay Marie Schmidt and Randy Allen Rinehart, both of Loyal, became husband and wife at 1 p.m. Sept. 21, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal.

The Rev. Robert Cook officiated. Music was provided by Pat Nickel and Pat Kelty.

Parents of the couple are Robert and June Schmidt and Gerald and Diane Rinehart, all of Loyal.

The bride, given away in marriage by her father, wore a Victorian-style bouffant gown of lace over taffeta with a ruffle-edged Victorian yoke, dropped waistline and ruffle-flounced hemline sweeping to a chapel train. She wore a lace-edged finger-tip veil.

Maid of honor was Nancy Schmidt, Loyal. Bridesmaids were Rhonda Griesner, Mosinee; Carol Vanderhoof, Spencer; Melissa Prehn, Marshfield; and Rita Crockett, Edmond, Okla.

They wore ruby and ice pink taffeta gowns with English net yokes, puffed sleeves and ruffle-flounced hemlines.

Best man was Greg Kollmansberger, Loyal. Groomsmen were Scott, Richard and Robert Rinehart, all of Loyal, and Bernie Wilke, Unity.

Serving as ushers were Todd Tomkowiak, Harlen Hinkleman and Bruce Schmidt, all of Loyal.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the American Legion Hall, Loyal.

The bride is a 1983 graduate and her husband a 1982 graduate, both of Loyal High School. He is a farmer.

The couple will reside north of Loyal.
