Vanderhoof, Carol Lynn (Marriage - 26 October 1985)

Carol Lynn Vanderhoof, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Vanderhoof Sr., of Spencer, and Richard David Rinehart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Rinehart of Loyal, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Unity.

The Rev. Roland Rakow officiated. Music was provided by Carrie Voight, vocalist, and Tammy Strey, organist.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an Elizabethan satin gown trimmed in lace, pearls and maribu. She also wore a white tear-drop hat with maribu and carried a royal blue rose accented with a daisy and miniature carnation.

Maid of honor was Connie Foth of Oshkosh. Bridesmaids were Sheri Vanderhoof, Cheryl Gallion, both of Spencer, and Kristine Johnson of Eau Claire. They wore royal blue satin dresses with leg-o-mutton sleeves, wrap-around bodices and tiers of ruffles, and royal blue tear-drop hats with maribu. They carried round lace-holders with royal blue roses accented with daisies and carnations.

Best man was Joel Schellinger of Spencer. Groomsmen were Jeff Schwantes of Spencer, Robert Rinehart and Randy Rinehart, both of Loyal.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Briann and Austin Ritchie of Rhinelander.

Serving as ushers were Rick Rinehart of Colby, Todd Schultz of Loyal, Bryan Stafford of Spencer and Scott Rinehart of Loyal.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the American Legion Hall in Loyal.

The bride is a 1985 graduate of Spencer High School. Her husband is a 1984 graduate of Loyal High School. He is a farmer.

The couple will live north of Loyal.
