Kriesel, Dorothy (30 JUN 1946)

Sunday, June 30, 1946, Miss Dorothy Kriesel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kriesel of Chicago, became the bride of Earl Cizek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Cizek of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). The double ring ceremony took place at the Grace Evangelical Church of Chicago, performed by Rev. A. Jarus.

The bride was given away by her father, and was attired in a beautiful gown of white nylon satin with a long train and veil. She carried a bouquet of white gladiolas and roses.

The matron of honor, Mrs. Ray Kriesel, sister-in-law of the bride, and the flower girl, Barbara Cizek, niece of the groom, wore beautiful eyelet gowns and carried white daisies.

The bridegroom was attended by his best man, Ray Kriesel, brother of the bride. Ushers at the service were Clarence Cizek and Bob Rapp.

A dinner and reception was given for friends and relatives immediately following the ceremony.

That evening the couple left for a two weeks honeymoon trip through the state of Wisconsin.
