Lipprandt, Ida #3 (23 JUN 1885 - 18 JUL 1946)

Funeral rites for Mrs. Ida Lipprandt, nee Schultz, were held Monday afternoon at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Green Grove, the Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating.

Mrs. Ida Lipprandt, wife of Oscar Lipprandt, was born on the 23rd day of June 1885, at Muenster, Germany. She came to this country at the age of 17, making her home with her uncle at Odessa, Minn. In 1912 she was united in marriage to Max Grube, at Bellingham, Minn. After six years of residence there her husband became a victim of the 1918 influenza. Following this bereavement she, with their adopted son Victor, moved back to Odessa, Minn.

Mrs. Lipprandt and son came to this community (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) in 1925, and was united in marriage on Oct. 26, 1926, to Oscar Lipprandt of Owen, Wisconsin, Route 1, at the Lutheran Parsonage at Green Grove.

She passed away at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital on Thursday morning of a heart ailment. Mourning her departure are her husband Oscar, her son Victor Grube, and seven grandchildren, all of Owen, Wisconsin, Route 1. Also her mother and one sister, Elizabeth Kleinke of Muenster, Germany. Preceding her in death were her father, two sisters, and a brother, who was a casualty of the late war. Mrs. Lipprandt was a lifelong faithful, zealous worker of the Lutheran Church, and at one time president of the St. Paul’s Ladies Aid.
