Ivey, Margaret L. (19 AUG 1946)

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ivey, Sr. announce the marriage of their daughter Margaret Lucille, to Ellis Houston Lynn, Jr., of Kansas City, Mo., on Aug. 19, 1946.

The beautiful double ring ceremony was performed in the Chapel at Fort Sheridan, Ill., in the presence of a few close friends and relatives.

The bride wore a grey suit with pink accessories. Her only jewelry was a string of pearls, a gift from the groom. Her hat for the occasion was designed by her maid of honor, Mrs. Case Duffy of Ann Arbor, Mich.

The groom was dressed in the uniform of the U.S. Army and was attended by Glen E. Ivey, Jr., a brother of the bride.

Margaret is a graduate of the Owen, Wis. (Clark Co., Wis.) High School and for the past several years has been employed as secretary at Fort Sheridan.

The groom has had 10 years of Army service and was serving as a Captain in the Pacific area at the close of the war. He re-enlisted and at the present time is employed at Fort Sheridan.

Mrs. Glen Ivey, Sr., Owen, mother of the bride, and Charles Ivey attended the wedding.
