Anderson, June A. (19 OCT 1946)

Miss June Adell Anderson exchanged nuptial vows with Duane S. Morscheck of Owen, Wis. (Clark Co., Wis.), on Saturday evening, Oct. 19, 1946, at the First Evangelical Free Church of Minneapolis.

For her wedding the bride wore an ivory satin gown with sweetheart neckline, long pointed sleeves, and a fitted bodice, which buttoned down the back. The skirt ended in a long train. Her fingertip veil, which was bordered with lace, was caught up by a crown of tiny glass beads and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses and pompoms showered with satin streamers. She also carried a Bible of her grandmother’s, and wore a string of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom.

The bride’s sister, Genevieve Anderson, served as maid of honor and wore a gown of yellow taffeta, made with a fitted bodice and full skirt. She carried a large bouquet of rust mums and her costume was completed by a coronet of rust pompoms.

The bridesmaids were Miss Vonnie Morscheck of St. Paul, Miss June Boyd of Duluth, and the Misses Leone Seashore and Marilyn Anderson, both of Minneapolis. Their gowns were all identical in style with the one worn by the maid of honor, two in aqua, and two in dusty rose. They carried orchid mums with coronets to match. Their only jewels were rhinestone necklaces, gist of the bride.

Gail Beck of Lansing, Mich., was best man. Ushers were Earl Malm of St. Paul, and Duane Coon, Aldon Jensen and Bruce McLaren, all of Cumberland, Iowa.

A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony for about 350 guests.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Anderson of 5049 26th Ave., South Minneapolis, and the groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Beck of Owen.

They will make their home in Cumberland, Iowa, where the groom is a resident pastor.
