Leona Gluck celebrated her 11th birthday last Sunday by entertaining about twenty of her little friends in a most pleasant manner.

E. Schroeder recently purchased a power washer for his wife, which she thinks is just fine.

Emma and Aleta Gluck accompanied by a friend, Agnes Garbush, came out from Neillsville to attend Leona Gluck’s party.

Emil Prange and family Sundayed at Ed. Prange’s.

Ernest Schroeder assisted by Fred Kier has been hauling hay from the Frei farm in York.

Esther Krause is recovering nicely from her operation.

Several new patrons are hauling to the North Star cheese factory which now has a good run.

Most of the farmers here find themselves short of hay.

Miss Henze and pupils enjoyed a hot lunch at school Friday.

Fred Kier sold three horses to Ross Paulson and took another horse as part pay.

Otto Becker of Lynn was a business caller in North Grant last week.
