Cottier, Kemlyn Ann "Kim" (10 August 1942 - 8 October 2008)

Kemlyn A. "Kim" Cottier, 66, of Neillsville, formerly of Coloma, MI, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Kemlyn Ann Cottier was born August 10, 1942, in Coloma, MI, the daughter of Neil and Ethel (Coble) Cottier. She graduated from Coloma High School. She worked for 20 years as a data-entry clerk for Whirlpool in St. Joseph, MI, retiring in the mid-1980s. Kemlyn was also a foster care provider and adopted several children over the years. She moved to Neillsville in 2003 after twice living in Florida.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed her pets, but most of all she loved her family and her life revolved around her children.

She is survived by her children, Debbie (Don) Gohr of Benton Harbor, MI, Mary (Bob) McCullough of Black River Falls, David Cottier of Buchanon, MI, Richy (Heather) Cottier of Neillsville, Candace Cottier of St. Joseph, MI, Daniel Cottier of Neillsville and Loren Cottier of Neillsville; 12 grandchildren; and her mother, Ethel Cottier of Neillsville. Kemlyn is also survived by a niece, Joanne, and nephews, Andy and Craig.

She was preceded in death by her father, Neil Cottier, and a sister, Kathleen.

Funeral services for Kemlyn were held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2008, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Neillsville. Pastor Armando Camacho officiated. Music was provided by Ronald Resong.

Casketbearers were Cameron Gohr, Daniel Cottier, Kenton Gohr, Ricky Cottier, Paul Oliver and Dave Rodlinger.

The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Kemlyn’s family with funeral arrangements.
