Rensink, Bernice (14 FEB 1947)

Miss Bernice Rensink became the bride of Alvin Scheuerman in a 3:30 o’clock ceremony performed Friday afternoon, Feb. 14, 1947, by the Rev. A. T. Laman in the parsonage of the First Reformed Church in Oostburg, Wis.

The bride’s gown was of white satin net with fitted bodice, long sleeves with lace insets. Her three-quarter length veil was gathered to a headdress of flowers. She wore a pearl necklace and carried a bouquet of roses.

Attendants of the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wynveen. The bride is the foster daughter of Ed Koskamp. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Scheuerman of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).

Members of the immediate families were served a wedding supper at 5:30 o’clock at the Koskamp home, where the couple will reside when they return from a short wedding trip.

The bride is a graduate of the Oostburg High School and is employed as a telephone operator with Commonwealth Telephone Co.

The groom, a veteran of World War II, is with the State Foundry in Cedar Grove.
