Neillsville

The infant son of Joe Davis died early Sunday morning and was buried Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Ira Payne of Elmira, New York, is visiting with G. W. Smith and family.

H. W. Hunt of Greenwood, called Friday.

Vet. Marsh, A. D. Davis and Kearney Davis of Granton, were here on business last Saturday.

W. O. Connor of Marshfield, registered at the Merchants Wednesday.

F. M. Carter of Greenwood, made a business call Sunday.

Fred Draper called Wednesday and distributed a few of his pleasant smiles around to his friends.

F. J. Simon of Humbird, was a business caller Friday.

Frank A. Archer of Chicago, formerly of Neillsville, called on friends here Friday.

A number of young people from here attended the dance at Granton Saturday evening.

J. Stafford, Sr., J. Stafford, Jr. and Fred Hodge, all of Greenwood, were callers here Thursday.

Dick Boon was killed at Marshfield last Saturday night by a car which he supposed had been switched on the side track, but owning to the switch-man the car came up the main track and hit Mr. Boon as he was walking up the track. Mr. Boon was brought here Sunday and was buried Monday.
