LOCAL ITEMS

The Women’s Club will meet in the Armory club rooms, Friday, Nov. 13, with on-half of the members serving.

Mrs. Forest McDonald arrived Monday to visit at the home of her mother Mrs.Henry Brunkhorst.

Leonard Urghardt, Westboro, spent Saturday at the Peter Dolan Home.

Miss Clara Sybeldon and Al Popple of Chippewa Falls and Myrtle Popple of Jim Falls spent Sunday at the Mrs. Ed. Sybeldon home.

A surprise party was given in honor of Mrs. Ed. Sybeldon, Sr., at her home Wednesday evening. Those present were Mesdames Carpenter, Nikolay, McCabe, Kadonsky, Lieders, Duellman and Miss Lelah LeCaire. Pinochle was played. First prize was awarded to Mrs. Nikolay and second to Mrs. Carpenter. Lunch was served.

Mrs. Joe Fischer and sons Joel and Richard spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. E. Sybeldon, Sr.

Mrs. Francis Scherer and the Misses Eleanor Rusk, Vivian Moore and Audrey Anderson attended a party given Mrs. Forest McDonald at Medford, Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Olson and son, and Miss Lorraine Olson, sent the weekend at the Floyd Amery home at Reedsburg.

Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lord and daughter Marion of Rib Lake, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Jenks, Sunday.

Mesdames L. C. Smith, Calvin Hills, J.A. Rilling and Charles Hoffman attended the Presbyterian Missionary meeting at Wausau, Friday.

Miss Helen Krueger spent the weekend at Wausau.
