Kralcik, Marie (Marriage - 19 June 1934)

A pretty June wedding took place Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic church at Colby when Miss Marie Kralcik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kralcik of the town of Hull, became the bride of Peter Horacek of the town of Johnson. The Rev. L. J. Lang performed the marriage rites.

The bride wore a gown of ivory satin and lace. Her veil edged with lace was designed in cap effect with a bandeau of beads and ended in a long train. Her bouquet consisted of calla lilies, roses and ferns. She was attended by her cousin, Miss Rose Kralcik of Chicago, as maid of honor, who was dressed in pink and carried pink roses, carnations and snapdragons. Miss Helen Kralcik, a sister, and Miss Kathryn Lach of Wausau were the bridesmaids.

They were dressed in yellow and rose and wore head bands to match and carried snapdragons, roses and gladiolas in shades to harmonize with their gowns. All wore white pumps and gloves. Little Evelyn Kluk of Chicago, who was dressed in white served as flower girl and carried a large bouquet of mixed flowers.

The groom was attended by his cousin, Casimir Janezik of Chicago, Norman Wolf of Wausau and John Kralcik, brother of the bride.

A reception followed the ceremony and dinner and supper were served to fifty at the home of the bride’s parents. The rooms were trimmed with colored streamers, flowers and foliage, for the occasion. In the evening further festivities were enjoyed at Berger’s pavilion.

The young couple will make their home on the groom’s farm near Milan.
