Weller, Doretta (13 Feb. 1889 - 17 Sept. 1957)

Mrs. Louis Weller died at the Clark county hospital Tuesday night. Funeral services will be held at the Zion Lutheran church Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. Wm. H. Christian officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Weller was born in Germany on February 13, 1889, and came to the United States when three years of age with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. William Miller, Sr., who came directly to Colby and engaged in farming. She married Louis Weller in Colby, Wisconsin on November 23, 1902. Mr. Weller operated a cheese factory in the town of Hull from 1898 to 1906 and then engaged in farming until 1930 when he and Mrs. Weller retired and moved to the city of Colby, Wis.

Besides her widower, an adopted son, Raymond Weller, survives. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louis Weller were held Friday afternoon at Zion Lutheran church, Rev. Wm. R. Christian officiating, and intenment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Walter Weller, Clarence Weller, George Weller, William Mueller, Ed Mueller and Walter Mueller.

Out of town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weller and William Weller of Milwaukee and Mrs. Clara Hamitic of Fond du Lac.
