Baskovec, Frances (25 JUN 1938)

Wearing a white lace gown with a veil caught to a crown cap and a long train, Miss Frances Baskovec, daughter of Mr. Joseph Baskovec Sr. of Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), was married at Holy Family church at Willard on Saturday, June 25, 1938. To Anthony Debevec, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Debevec of Willard. Rev. M. Marinsek, O.F.M. said the nuptial mass at 8:00 a.m.

The bride, on the arm of her father, and with her attendants, came to meet the groom in front of the altar. The groom, with his attendants, came in from the sacristy. The church choir sang during the mass.

Miss Mary Starc and Miss Ann Asich, cousins of the bride, were bridesmaids. Both wore peach lace gowns. Robert Debevec, brother of the groom, was best man, and Joseph Baskovec Jr., brother of the bride, was usher.

Dinner was served to the wedding guests, among whom were also Rev. A. Murn, O.F.M. and Rev. M. Marinsek, O.F.M. In the evening a reception was held at the bride's home for the relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Debevec will make their home in Willard where the groom is employed at the Willard Cheese Factory.

Out of town guests were Miss Mary Starc, Miss Ann Asich, Mr. and Mrs. John Starc, Mrs. Anna Stevens and children Ernest, Dorothy and Bernadine, all of Chicago, Ill; Mrs. John Riley of Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Riley and son Thomas of Riley, Wis.
