Hoeper, Maude E. (Marriage - 16 October 1970)

Maude E. Hoeper, Greenwood, became the brie of Ross Braithwait, Owen, at a 4 p.m. ceremony performed October 16, at the Owen United Church of Christ by the Rev. W. Peterson.

The bride, given in marriage by Phillip K. Hoeper, Omaha, Nebr., wore a blue and white coat and dress ensemble with a corsage of white carnations and red roses.

Mrs. Charles Hoeper, Greenwood, was matron-of-honor. She was attired in a blue, street length dress with white accessories. Her corsage contained white carnations. Charles Hoeper, Greenwood served as bestman. Ushers were Rodney Hoeper, Greenwood, and Kenneth Hoeper, Omaha, Nebr.

Frieda Stark sang, “The Lord’s Prayer,” accompanied by Connie Wagner. Bouquets of blue and white carnations decorated the church.

A reception for 100 guests was held at the Owen Legion Hall, which was also decorated with bouquets of blue and white carnations.

After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, the couple will live on Rt. 1 Owen, where the groom is employed at the Frederick Post Company.
