Kathrein, David A. (13 OCT 1962 - 17 SEP 2013)

David A. Kathrein, 50, Rib Lake, died on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Golden LivingCenter in Rib Lake.

A memorial burial of his cremated remains will be held on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake, with military rites performed by the Rib Lake American Legion Military Honors Team.

Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

US Army veteran having served from 1981 to 1984. After the military, he worked at Tannery Lane in Rib Lake until ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motor cycles, tweaking older stereo systems, getting tattoos and spending time with family and friends.
