Mr. and Mrs. Fr. H. Schmidt and Oscar Meyer spent last Sunday at Granton.

Mrs. Mary Biddle and Mrs. Melvin Biddle spent Saturday evening at the Allois Prock home at Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. John Pagel and son George called on Mrs. Mary Biddle, Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Jos. Kazmierski and son Eugene, Miss Helen Lewandowski of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. M. Lemanski of Beaver Dam, Wis., the Misses Marion and Connie Lewandowski of Stevens Point, Wis., spent the weekend at the S. Lewandowski home in Reseburg (Clark Co.).

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Knajdek and son Gary Lee spent Sunday at Abbotsford at the George Knajdek home.

Richard Vanderhyden, local carrier of the Minneapolis Star and Tribune newspapers, was guest of those papers in Minneapolis over the weekend with all expenses paid. He was among 100 other carriers throughout the northwest who visited principal spots in Minneapolis and witnessed the Minnesota - Pittsburgh football game on Saturday. This was Richard’s first visit to Minneapolis.
