Miss Sherry Darlene Bragg, daughter of Mrs. Marcella Bragg, route 1, Curtiss and Verland Jerome Schneider, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schneider of Colby, repeated their marriage promises in St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, Saturday, June 12.  The Rev. Ambrose Blenker officiated at the ceremony at one o’clock.

For her wedding the bride was attired in a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace with a jewel trimmed round neckline.  The full skirt of lace and nylon was accented by ruffles at the back.  She wore a short veil secured to a double crown and carried an arrangement of red roses and white carnations.

Her attendants were dressed alike in blue street-length dresses and carried bouquets of pink and white carnations.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Schneider of Colby, brother and sister-in-law of the groom, were the honor attendants.

The bridesmaids were Miss Florence Schneider of Colby, sister of the groom, Miss Rosella Steen of Rib Lake, a cousin of the bride.  Another cousin, Miss Debra Glenzer of Rib Lake, was the flower girl.

Dan Fischer of Unity, a friend of the groom, and Larry Krueger of Merrill, a cousin of the bride, were groomsmen, and Harold Kenyon, a cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer.

George Schneider and Keith Bragg seated the guests who came from Curtiss, Greenwood, Colby, Rib Lake, Milwaukee, Sauk City, Edgar, Athens, Spencer, Wausau, Marshfield, Stratford, Unity and Merrill.

Festivities of the wedding day following the church ceremony were a reception at the Colby city hall, supper for 134 guests at St. Mary’s Catholic school gymnasium, and a wedding dance at Unity hall.

After the new Mr. and Mrs. Schneider return from a honeymoon trip to northern Michigan they will be at home at Spencer where the groom is employed at Spencer Sports Products.
