Doffin, Lois M. (Marriage - 18 Oct. 1958)

Miss Lois M. Doffin and Lee E. Elstrom, both of Chicago, Illinois, were married October 18th at 3:00 P.M. in St. Peter’s church in Skokie, Ill. Parents of the couple are Joseph Doffin and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elstrom of Bristol, formerly of Colby, Wis. Roses and carnations decorated the altar of the church.

As the bride was given in marriage by her father, she wore a floor-length gown of taffeta and lace trimmed with pearls and sequins. Her crown of seed pearls held a veil of illusion, and she carried a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis. Margaret Gallaher was maid of honor and wore a ballerina-length gown of turquoise peau de soie. She carried a bouquet of yellow carnations. Arland Elstrom of Chicago was best man.

The groom attended Colby High School and is a painting contractor in Chicago. The bride attended Calumet High School in Chicago and has been employed in the office of Hartford Fire Insurance Co.

Following a honeymoon in Florida, the couple will make their home at 8031 Lockwood St. in Skokie, Ill.
