Wedding vows were exchanged at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Greenwood, Saturday, August 20, at a 2 p.m. ceremony by Miss Rossow Jean Rossow, Loyal, and David Gary Friske, Greenwood.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Rossow, route 1, Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Friske, route 1, Greenwood.

The Rev. Alvid Myhrwold performed the ceremony and Mrs. Myhrwold sang “One Hand One Heart” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”

Church decorations consisted of the altar being lighted with candles and bouquets of yellow pompoms and white carnations.

The bride given in marriage by her father wore a floor-length gown of white bridal mist taffeta, a detachable waist train, a fitted bodice and Beateau neckline. The bodice and skirt front were beaded with miniature crystals and pearls. She wore a bouffant finger-tip veil with a sSwedish double crown. She carried a cascade arrangement of yellow roses and stephanotis with streamers of white ribbon and yellow rose buds.

Mrs. Michael Podrovitz, Greenwood, was maid of honor. Miss Margie Dyre, Greenwood, Miss Barbara Hendrickson, Milwauke, and Miss Faye Friske, White Hall, were the bridesmaids

The aides wore floor-length canary yellow crepe sheath dresses with beateau necklines, tulip sleeves and small bows accenting the empire waistline.
Their head pieces consisted of four tier net over matching yellow crepe bows.

Mr. Bernard K. Friske, Greenwood, was the best man, Mr. Dennis Wendt, Owen, Mr. Kerry Butke, Alma Center, and Mr. Duane Olson, Greenwood served as groomsmen.

Ushering the guests were Mr. Danny Rossow, Niagara Falls, New York, and Mr. Matnard Bowe, Greenwood.

Following the large church wedding a reception was held in the church dining hall. That evening a dance was held at the Legion Hall in Owen.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of Greenwood High School and the Bay Vogue School at Chicago. The bride had been employed at Quality Print Inc., Merrill. The groom is a 1963 graduate of the same high school and attended River Falls State University. He is employed at E-Z Kamper,Loyal.

After a wedding trip to Canada the couple will reside at route 1, Greenwood.
