Schmirler, Ann Marie (Marriage - 29 Nov. 1958)

Miss Ann Marie Schmirler, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Schmirler of Abbotsford, and Gilbert John J. Wiedenhoeft, Jr., son of Gilbert Wiedenhoeft of Unity, were united in marriage in the rectory of St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock with Rev. Raymond Schulz officiating.

A wedding gown of nylon jersey and satin was chosen by the bride. In ballerina length, it was styled with a satin cummerbund. A beaded crown headpiece held her finger-tip veil. Pink carnations surrounded a white orchid for the bridal bouquet.

Attendants were Miss Patricia Davis, Mosinee, as maid of honor, and Andrew Schmirler, was best man. Miss Davis wore a gown of blue crystalette and carried a bouquet of white and pink carnations.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and a four o’clock supper was served guests in the Abbotsford High School dining room.

Mr. Wiedenhoeft is a graduate of Unity High School and attended Stevens Point College. He is employed by the Soo Line Railroad. The bride is a graduate of Abbotsford High School and St. Mary’s School of X-ray Technology at Wausau.
