Scheuerman, Mary Christine (1 Dec. 1882 - 18 Dec. 1958)

Mrs. Mary Christine Scheuerman of Colby, Wisconsin died last Thursday, Dec. 18, at the age of 76 years, a blood clot being the cause of her death. Funeral services were in charge of the Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby and were held Saturday in Zion Lutheran church in Colby, Wis., Rev. Wm. R. Christian officiating, and internment was made in the Dorchester cemetery. Pall bearers were Jack Young, Anton Younker, Joe Dessel, Joe Sulik, Carl Brown and Louis Wigsteadt.

Mrs. Scheurman was born in Germany on December 1, 1882, and came to the United States in 1893 with her parents who settled on a farm one and one-half miles northwest of Dorchester, Wis. She married Frank Scheuerman on September 28, 1901, in Dorchester, Wis. He and one child preceded her in death. She moved to Colby in 1946.

Surviving are two sons, Theodore and Elmer Scheuerman, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; two grand children; four brothers, Conrad Kramer of Abbotsford, Fred Kramer of Ritzville, Wash., Peter Kramer of Ritzville, Wash., John Kramer of Spokane, Wash.; four sisters, Mollie Harriso of Tacoma, Wash., Amelia Lightel of Ritzville, Wash., Margaret McCall of San Francisco, Calif., Susan Hahn of Portland, Ore.
