Nikolay, Helen Apollonia (Marriage - 12 Nov. 1935)

Miss Helen Apollonia Nikolay became the bride of Royal Archambo in a simple and charming ceremony, Tuesday morning at 7:30 in St. Bernard’s Catholic church. Father John Novak officiated. The attendants were Miss Apollonia Oppman, cousin and Alfred Nikolay, brother of the bride.

The bride, in her wine colored transparent velvet gown, cut on princess lines, with hat and accessories of gold, carrying yellow chrysanthemums, made a lovely picture. The bridesmaid, in squadron blue transparent velvet with silver accessories and white pompoms and chrysanthemums was a perfect complement to the bride.

Mrs. C. T. Dolan played Lohengrin’s Wedding March as the Processional and Mendelsohn’s as Recessional. During the services she sang Hymns and the Ave Maria.

A 6 o’clock dinner was served to immediate relatives.

Both the bride and the groom are graduates from the Abbotsford High School.

Mr. and Mrs. Archambo will be at home to their friends after Nov. 15, on route 1, Abbotsford, Wis. Mr. Archambo is employed on the Max Papenfuss farm.
