Scott was born May 21, 1962, in Marshfield. He graduated from Colby High School in 1981. Scott was employed at the Clark County Adult Development, Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Herrmann Sugarbush, Searer Dairy Farm and enjoyed babysitting his nieces and nephews.

Scott was a lifelong sports fan of the Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, WWE wrestling and the Colby Hornets. A manager of the football and basketball teams during his high school years, he continued this for 10 years after his graduation. He was honored in 1999 as fan of the year in Colby, Wis. Following the teams each year was a main passion of his, and the undefeated and state title this year by the Colby football team brought him much joy. He also enjoyed traveling the country with his family and his time at the Willow Ridge Adult Daycare.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn and one brother Edward Jr.

He is survived by his father Edward Herrmann; brother and caregiver, Allan Herrmann (Jeri Shepherd); sister Penny (Gary) Searer and their children, Mindy (Sean) Wagner, Mitchel (Brittany Jascor) Searer and Ryan (Amber) Searer; and his two eskimo spitz dogs, Kattie and Snookie.

The family would especially like to thank the independent nurses who made his care at home the last three years possible -- Jean Matushak, Barb Davis, Claire Meier, India Sillampa, Christen Schaefer, Judy McQueen and Mary Oelke and Dr. K.J. Williams of Saint Joseph's Hospital for his hospice care and house calls. The kind and loving care they provided made each day brighter. A memorial in Scott's name will be established at a later date.
