Wolowik, Mary (12 FEB 1884 - 24 DEC 1947)

Funeral services were conducted at St. Hedwig’s (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) Church at ten o’clock Saturday morning, Dec. 27 for Mrs. Mary Wolowik, who passed away at her home on Dec. 24, 1947, after a lingering illness. The requiem mass was sung by Rev. Piekarski, assisted by Rev. Kaim. She had reached the age of 64 years. Mary Sadowski was born in Poland on Feb. 12, 1884.

She is survived by her husband, four sons, William of Mayville, Wis., Walter of Milwaukee, Wis., Steve and Edward of Greenwood, Wis.; four daughters, Mary (Mrs. Anton Norysiewicz), Frances (Mrs. William Butek), Harriet Casey, of Chicago, Ill., and Helen (Mrs. Theo Papierniak) and ten grandchildren.

She was laid to rest in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Stanley Pszeniczny, Victor Lobacz, Fred Letvinuk, John Romanowicz, Victor Zielinski and John Papierniak.

Relatives from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wolowik and Joanne of Mayville, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wolowik of Milwaukee, Wis.; Harriet Casey and Lee of Chicago, Ill.; John Sadowski of Milwaukee; Mrs. Sophie Parafinuk, sons Ervin and Edmond and daughter Theresa, of Abram, Wis.
