Zaborowski, Agnes (9 JAN 1889 - 19 MAR 1948)

Mrs. Agnes Zaborowski passed away at her farm home on Friday morning, March 19, 1948. She had reached the age of 59 years, 2 months and 10 days.

Agnes Cieciora was born near Milwaukee on a farm on Jan. 8, 1889. She was united in marriage to John Zaborowski on Oct. 28, 1908 at St. Hedwig’s Church, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis. They made their home on a farm northwest of Thorp. Her husband passed away on Dec. 6, 1929.

Left to mourn are one son, Edward of Thorp, one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Anna) martin of Chicago; Mrs. Jos. (Agnes) Pravdick and Mayme Zaborowski, both of Chicago; and two grandchildren, Edward Allen Martin of Chicago, and Barbara Zaborowski of Thorp. Besides her children, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George (Rose) Finnegan of Chicago, and Mrs. Andrew (Mary) Abramczuk of Thorp; four brothers, Anton and Frank Cieciora of Thorp, Leon of Wausau and Joseph of San Antonio, Texas. One sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted at St. Hedwig’s Church on Monday morning, March 22, at ten o’clock with Rev. Francis Piekarski officiating and interment taking place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were James Ignasiak, John Navarre, Victor Soborowicz, Frank Kowalski, Thomas Chodera and Rank Soborowicz.

Those from out of town attending the funeral were: Mrs. Jos. Pravdick and Mr. Edward Martin, both of Chicago; Mr. Paul Cieciora of Cadott and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zaborowski of Gilman.
