Zink, Herman Oscar (1 Sept. 1900 - 11 Jan. 1959)

Herman Oscar Zink, proprietor of the Zink Funeral Home at Abbotsford, died Sunday evening at the age of 58 at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where he had been a patient since January 8. Funeral services are being held this Thursday morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford, Rev. Raymond V. Schulz officiating. Burial will be made in the Hillside cemetery.

Mr. Zink was born on September 1, 1900, in Marshfield. He received his education in Marshfield and at the Goodman School of Embalming in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He married Catherine Selinksi in 1933 in Junction City. They moved to Abbotsford 23 years ago and made their home there since.

Surviving are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Baldwin (Sandra) Carstensen of Milwaukee, Angela, Judith and Catherine Zink at home; one son, George Zink, at home; one grand child; one brother, Leonard Zink; one sister, Mrs. John (Edith) Fischer, both of Marshfield. One daughter died in infancy.
