Mrs. Switzer and children of Antigo visited here the past week with her sister, Mrs. Kalkofen.

Mr. and Mrs. John Demuth visited at the Homer Potter home Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. John Ternes and family and Mrs. Elizabeth Wrier left for their homes Saturday after a visit with relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Soren Korntved were Greenwood callers Monday.

Our school opened Monday, Aug. 31st, with Miss Gibbs of Thorp as principal and Mrs. Syth as primary teacher.

Albert Susa hauled wood to the Eaton Center factory Monday.

Mrs. Korntved and Mrs. Quimby hleped Mrs. Scherer cook for threshers Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Demuth and family, Mrs. John Ternes and family, Mrs. elizabeth Wrier and the Misses Florence and Marion Scherer spent Friday evening at the Geo. Scherer home.

Little Miss Eva Kalkofen came home Thursday after a three week visit with relatives and friends at Antigo.

Rev. Anderson and family of Iowa are here visiting at the home of Mrs. Anderson's mother, Mrs. Emma Syth.

Mrs. Arleigh Syth and Miss Christina Kalkofen were Neillsville callers Friday afternoon.

A large crowd attended the Ice Cream Social at the Rob Syth home Tuesday evening.
