Schroeder, Henry (1868 - 25 DEC 1948)

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. at the Thorp Funeral Home, Monday, Dec. 28th, for Henry Schroeder, who passed away of old age infirmities at his home in the Town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1948. He was 80 years of age.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schroeder, deceased for many years he was one of the pioneers of this territory and spent his younger days here. He resided a number of years in the West and returned to Thorp about fifteen years ago.

He is survived by two sons, Jesse Schroder and Floyd Henning, both of Thorp.

Interment took place in the east Thorp Cemetery beside his parents. Pallbearers were Conrad and Cesar Barth, Peter Kaz, Felix Kolenkiewicz, Eric Amendt and George Duell.
