Dudansky, Augusta (15 JUN 1868 - 17 FEB 1949)

Mrs. Herman Dudansky passed away of old age infirmities on Feb. 17, 1949. She had reached the age of 80 years, 8 months and 2 days.

Augusta Demmart (Demert in Cemetery listing) was born in Germany on June 15, 1868. She came to America in 1890 and on Aug. 2nd of that year was united in marriage to Herman Dudansky at Thorp. She and her husband and family resided fro years on a farm in the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), but upon the death of Mr. Dudansky in Dec. 1943, she moved to the village of Thorp, which has since been her home.

She is survived by three sons, Herman Dudansky of Mayville, Wis. and Otto and William of Thorp; five daughters, (Emma) Mrs. George Brown of Chicago, (Minnie) Mrs. Alfred Heymann of Elmhurst, Ill., (Hattie) Mrs. Walter Deuermyer of Aitkin, Minn., (Edith) Mrs. George Courter and (Irene) Mrs. Louis Kaczor of Thorp.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Zimmermann at the Thorp Funeral Home for the deceased on Monday afternoon, Feb. 21st and burial was made in the Thorp Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Walter Reinek, Ed Beller, Wm. Kaczor, Gordon and Norman Deuermyer and Stanley Herman.
