Krystal Schaefer and Kyle Salzmann, both of Menomonie, announce their engagement.

Krystal is the daughter of Jon and Kathy Schafer (father), Stratford, and Rebecca Gutenberger (mother) Marshfield. She graduated from Marshfield High School and has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from UW-Stevens Point and is currently in her last semester in the master of science school counselor program at UW-Stout in Monomonie.

Kyle is the son of Dale and Julie Salzmann of Hazel Green. He graduated from Cuba City High School, and has a bachelor of science degree in both biology and wildlife form UW-Stevens Point. He is currently employed at CEVA Logistics in Menomonie.

An April wedding is being planned in Stratford.
