Last fall the Abbotsford High School class of 1973 celebrated its 35th class reunion.
The Friday and Saturday event brought former classmates and teaches back together for a weekend of old and new story telling.
A trivia contest was held hosted by Carol Colby, Wis. In game show style, after many tough questions about past and present times, the team of Don Nelson, Mark Paul, Wayne Balor and Julie Ridderbusch beat out everyone else in a close battle. But the end of the evening everyone was on the dance floor grooving to music of their era, which this year’s seniors probably never heard of. Bob Olson was first to respond back and Wayne and Verne Butor were voted best dance couple.
Teachers attending were Bruno Pawlowicz, Dennis Schreiber, Gwen Peterson, Mary Nelson, Dick Standevan, Don Medenwadt and John Allen.
Students attending were Bob Olson, Pam Weber, Barb Frane, Duwayne Olson, Geoff Kieser, Gerard Schreiber, Karen Beil, Fred Strathman, Don Nelson, David Borgemon, Carol Colby, Jeff Mueller, Chris Younker, Mark Paul, Jan Schilling, Marilyn Schreiber, Jan Nibbe, Randy Klieforth, Clark Fleege, Sharon Holtz, Calvin Krause, Karen Nikolay, Brian Loucks, Wayne Butor, Diane Horachek, Dennis Grambort, Lori Eiden, Bob Brodhagen, J. C. Nelson, Julie Ridderbusch, Jim Polnaszek, Jim Colby, Sherri Apfelbeck, Mark Colby, Dennis Westphal, and Gloria Lueth.
