Boland, Elizabeth (1856? - 21 September 1950)

Mrs. Elizabeth Boland, 94, one of Colby’s oldest residents, has been interred in the Hillside Cemetery at Marshfield. She died on Thursday at her home near Colby, Wis. Funeral services were conducted on Monday from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, Wis.

Mrs. Boland was a native of Germany. She came to the United States in 1917 and lived in New York City. In 1878 she was married to Jacob Boland, and in 1886 they came to Wisconsin.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William Schilling, eight grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
