Sierocuk, Lillian (28 JAN 1950)

Miss Lillian Sierocuk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sierocuk, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Francis A. Hedler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Hedler, Thorp, in a ceremony performed Saturday morning in St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Francis Piekarski officiated at the 10 o’clock service.

The bride wore an ivory satin gown designed with sheer neckline set off with appliqués of satin lilies on lace, and a full skirt which extended into a long train. Her veil fell from a lace bonnet edged with orange blossoms. A cascade bouquet of white orchids and roses completed her ensemble.

Attending the bride were three bridesmaids, Miss Harriet Sierocuk and Miss Geraldine Hedler, both of Thorp, and Miss Delores Firnstahl, Colby, Wis. They were attired in satin gowns of teal blue, fuchsia, and gold, respectively. All three formals, styled with full skirts and Peter Pan collars, buttoned down the front. They wore ostrich plumed bonnets and gauntlets and carried bouquets of yellow chrysanthemums and small pompons.

Donald Hedler, Colby, and Henry Sierocuk, Thorp, attended the groom.

Following the ceremony, a breakfast was held for relatives and a reception was held at 6 p.m. at the P.N.A. Hall.

Both are graduates of Thorp High School, and the bride is employed at the Thorp Finance Corp., while the groom is employed in the post office here.

When the couple return from a honeymoon they will reside in Thorp.
