Butler, Milton M. (1 July 1931 - 25 January 2009)

Milton M. Butler, age 77, of the Town of Taft, died Sunday, January 25, 2009, at his home.

He was born on July 1, 1931, in Minatare, NE, the son of the later Frank and June (Trent) Butler. His family later moved to Hardin, MT where he graduated from high school. Milton graduated from Montana University with a degree in education, and later received his Master’s Degree. He moved to Los Angeles and met Rose Kaufman. They were married on February 21, 1967 in West Covina, CA. The couple moved to the Town of Taft in 1984.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rose; six children: Vicki Davies of Riverside, PA, Niki Butler of Redmond, WA, Gordon (Lynn) Murray of Austin, TX, Stephen (Elva) Murray of Chino, CA, Chuck (Anne) Murray of Walnut Creek, CA, and Jean (Ron) Wickersham of Oceanside, CA; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside ser3vice will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2009, at the Evergreen Cemetery, Stanley. All are welcome for a time of fellowship at the family’s home afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the American Lung Society in Milton’s name.

The Plombon Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
