Phillips, Edith (22 November 1930 - 1950)
Miss Edith Phillips, 20, a third grade teacher at the Colby schools, is dead as a result of a brain hemorrhage the cause of which is unknown. Miss Phillips suffered a severe headache while eating supper. Shortly thereafter she was taken to the hospital and died several hours later.
She was a graduate of the Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point. This was her first year of teaching at Colby, Wis. She was born at Neshkoro on November 22, 1930.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Phillips of Neshkoro and a brother, who is in the air force and is stationed at Puerto Rico.
