Ellingson, Kenneth W. (2 NOV 1947 - 16 OCT 2013)

Kenneth W. Ellingson, age 65, of Stetsonville, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Services were held at Saint Peter Lutheran Church in Dorchester on Friday, October 18, 2013. Rev. Jerome Freimuth officiated. Burial was at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Milan.

Pallbearers were Jim Fettes, Gene Bartnik, Roger Bartnik, Terry Gumz, Ken Gumz and Rod Umlauft.

The Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home of Dorchester is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kenneth W. Ellingson, age 65, of Stetsonville, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Ken was born November 2, 1947 in Medford, WI to Clifford and Mildred (Heidkte) Ellingson. He attended Kreie grade school and was a 1966 graduate of Medford High School. Ken farmed most of his life and retired in 2006. After retirement he worked at the Deer Creek Recycling Center and was the transportation for the Amish roofing crew.

Ken enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards with his buddies.

Ken is lovingly survived by his sister; Arlene Ellingson of Wausau and many cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Services will take place at Saint Peter Lutheran Church in Dorchester on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church in Dorchester. Rev. Jerome Freimuth will officiate. Burial will take place at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Milan, WI. Pallbearers will be; Jim Fettes, Gene Bartnik, Roger Bartnik, Terry Gumz, Ken Gumz and Rod Umlauft.
